Super Bowl Mass

Since Newman University is a Catholic college located in Kansas, the chapel on campus was well aware that the Wichita community has a majority of Kansas City Chiefs fans who wouldn't dare miss the Super Bowl in 2023, even for Mass - so Newman's chaplain changed the time to 4pm, before the game!

To help spread the word, I thought it could be a fun opportunity to showcase the community's faith AND fandom. The video garnered a large number of mass-goers on that particular Sunday, as well as multiple shares and engagement on social media.

This is also the only time anyone will ever catch me in an NFL team’s jersey that is not the Green Bay Packers
